In my first project, I took on the challenge of building a prototype for a restaurant/cafe/bar’s digital table ordering system. Collaborating with Lyttelton Coffee Company, I meticulously followed and documented the user experience design process to create an interactive interface using web technologies.
Using my expertise in HTML5, JavaScript, and Sass, I brought the prototype to life. The primary objective was to enhance customer engagement and increase sales of unique offerings by providing a convenient digital ordering solution. Customers could place orders, track order progress, explore deals and provide suggestions through touch screens at tables, mounted tablet-type devices at the bar, or their own mobile phones.
By leveraging web technologies and adopting a user-centered design approach, I successfully developed a functional prototype that prioritized user convenience and engagement. The implementation of HTML5, JavaScript, and Sass ensured a visually appealing and responsive experience for customers interacting with the digital ordering system.
This project showcased my ability to transform ideas into tangible prototypes, demonstrating the potential of the digital table ordering system. By embracing the iterative nature of prototyping, I could gather valuable feedback and insights to refine the user experience.
Overall, this prototype exemplifies my proficiency in employing web technologies to create innovative solutions that drive customer satisfaction and optimize business outcomes.
